Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both as a captain and a participant for the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics at London. She also brought home a bronze medal for the balance beam. She was an elite American to have won the most Olympic medals. The year she was in 2016, along with teammates Gabby Doug and Gabby Doug were the very first Americans that won back-toback team golds. Furthermore, she was awarded two silver medals for the floor exercise and individual all-around. In between the two Olympics she had taken a break from competitive gymnastics during three consecutive years. The gold medal she won for the American team also won twice at World Championships. Her favorite event is the floor workout. Her first experience with gymnastics began in the year she turned two years young. Aly is an active member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who died of cancer. Aly plans on pursuing a career in fashion and wants to develop her leotard line and socks later on. Fierce is her first book, which will be released later in the year.
